Terms of Use for Sellers

  1. The Bag Retailer ("BR") holds its sellers to high standards on the Site.
  2. BR exercises a zero tolerance policy on counterfeit products and fraud. Sellers will be suspended / removed at the absolute discretion of BR in said events.

  3. All seller accounts and listings are subject to BR approval.

  4. Sellers are responsible for the content of their listings. All products listed must be authentic and described accurately with all defects. Failure to describe item correctly may result in a 'item not as described' claim by buyer.

  5. Photos uploaded must be clear and of good quality. As a guideline, photos should be taken against a white background in natural / white light and at all angles.
  6. The Seller shall receive payment directly from buyers. Upon each successful sale, a 10% processing fee shall be automatically deducted from the sale proceeds and credited to BR (save in the event of promotion or offers whereby the processing fee rate may be less than 10%).
  7. Seller shall be responsible for its own shipping, buyer management, refunds etc. Where a refund occurs, the 10% processing fee (or such other rate as the case may be) shall be refunded accordingly.
  8. BR shall in no way be construed to be affiliated or in partnership with Seller. The Seller bears all responsibility in relation to its product and listings.

Seller etiquette

  1. BR expects sellers to consistently provide service that results in a high level of buyer satisfaction. This includes setting and meeting buyer expectations by providing excellent customer service from beginning to end. Sellers will be rated by buyers. 

  2. As a seller, you're expected to:

    • Promptly resolve customer issues.

    • Ship items on time, within your specified handling time

    • Manage inventory and keep items well stocked

    • Charge reasonable shipping and handling costs.

    • Specify shipping costs and handling time in the listing.

    • Follow through on your return policy.

    • Respond to buyers' questions promptly.

    • Be helpful, friendly, and professional throughout a transaction.

    • Make sure the item is delivered to the buyer as described in the listing.
